Changelog

a new CSL but using tables and properties (zotero, mendeley)

context: CSL means citation style Language and “codes” the way a paper/book is displayed when referenced. Since It’s a “script” it can be used in zotero or mendeley to help you feed remnote with all the metadata of a paper/book in a “nice way” (basically drag and drop in remnote from mendeley with all the correct information in the right place : e.g. authors are listed as child of “Authors” rem)

why: Now that there are tables and properties, it seems to me they are better to use than this.

🡢 why? table view and filtering :)

And since there is no forum, I’m posting this here:

questions:
Can someone explain to me:

1/ what is proper markdown-remnote syntax to declare properties of a rem/table? I assume the tag is key, but how does one “fills the properties” in markdown-remnote
2/ is it a good idea to use Markdown to create this type of content? I fear that this could create duplicate properties each time.

FYI, I’m open to creating this and update the CSL mentioned above.
