Add an “Export to PDF” Button for .rem Documents
📝 Description:
Currently, RemNote doesn’t offer a built‑in way to convert a .rem
document into a PDF. Adding a one‑click Export to PDF button would let users download their notes in a universally shareable, portable format—no need for external print dialogs or manual workarounds. 📥📄
✨ What new feature or change would you like to see added in RemNote?
An “Export to PDF” option on the document menu or toolbar that instantly generates and downloads a PDF version of the open .rem
file.
🤔 What problem does it solve for you? How would it improve your workflow or experience with RemNote?
It removes the extra steps of printing to PDF or copying content into other apps—saving time and ensuring that formatting (headings, tables, flashcards) remains intact. This makes sharing, archiving, and reviewing notes outside RemNote far more convenient.
💡 Additional Benefits:
🗂️ Simplifies distributing study guides or handouts to peers/instructors
🔒 Preserves formatting and structure without manual adjustments
⏱️ Speeds up workflows by keeping everything within RemNote’s interface
