Auto-remove unfilled slots

TLDR :
After applying the template and filling the slots, there should be an option to remove unfilled slots. And to remove those “x” if there’s text in child rem.

This is from the old forum,
What’s the little x after a reference for?

From what I understand,
The little “x” after using the slot as a template will be removed if that slot is filled. It will not be removed if there’s a sub-rem/ children made under that slot.

My suggestion

1. The little “x” after using slot, should also be removed if there’s a sub-rem/ children made under it. To signify that it has been used and not an empty slot.

2. There should be an option to remove empty slots, aka those with “x” marks.

Rationale

As we can’t fill the template every time, there’ll be left with empty slots in some of the rems and they provide nothing and just take up space.
It’ll also make reviewing slots much easier as there’s no more empty slots!

I’ll provide it with examples.

Making template and applying them.

filling the template and how it looks. But no DOB this time.

There it is. Those little “x” should be removed imo.

Combined with “remove unfilled slots” option

Left is before the "cleaning”, Right is after the “cleaning”.

And it would be better if Daily Documents can automatically remove unfilled slots at the end of the day. It’s like checklist! you don’t have to view what you haven’t done.
