Bring back the setting to disable spell check in the Electron app

There is a setting to disable the spell check in the Electron app image. The setting does not work in the 1.8 version. It’s still there but it does nothing. The support told me that the feature was dropped intentionally for 1.8 and that the setting checkbox was just forgotten.

I have a mixture of languages and a lot of domain specific words and names, the spell check can impossibly know them all and it would be unnecessary work to add them all to the spell check dictionary. On the other side, it’s extremely distracting if the currently focused REM is full of wiggly red lines. I don’t need spell check at all, my notes are just for me.

That’s why I’d like to ask if you could bring back the feature to disable the spell check completely?
