Enhancing the AI Tutor Bot for Comprehensive RemNote Support

Feature Request:

As a new user of RemNote, it can be challenging to locate specific functionalities and fully understand how to use the platform. While the current AI Tutor bot is very helpful and already provides assistance with general knowledge questions and tasks like flashcard creation, it doesn’t offer guidance on using RemNote’s own features. When asked about RemNote functionality, the bot responds with: “I can't help with using RemNote features. Please use the tutorial search box in the bottom-left corner for guidance on that.” (see screenshot).

While the Tutorials & Tips search is available, it often feels too generic and doesn’t always provide the specific answers users need (see screenshot). A more robust AI assistant that could address these specific feature-related queries would be incredibly valuable, especially for newcomers.

Feature Suggestion:

I propose enhancing the existing AI Tutor bot to provide support for questions related to RemNote’s features and usage. This improved AI assistant could:

  • Guide users through basic and advanced RemNote features.

  • Provide step-by-step instructions for specific tasks.

  • Help troubleshoot common issues within the platform.

  • Explain complex concepts, such as hierarchical structures, multi-line flashcards, and spaced repetition settings.

  • Suggest personalized workflows based on the user’s needs or learning goals.

Benefits:

  • Streamlined Learning Curve: New users could easily learn the platform without having to search through blog posts, Reddit threads, Discord discussions, and more.

  • Better Support for Specific Queries: Users could ask the AI exactly what they need, rather than relying on generic search results.

  • Reduced Reliance on External Resources: Centralizing help within RemNote would eliminate the need to leave the app to search across various platforms.

  • Improved User Experience: A more comprehensive AI assistant would enhance the onboarding experience, allowing users to feel confident with RemNote’s full functionality.

Thank you for considering this improvement! Expanding the current AI Tutor bot’s capabilities would make a big difference for both new and experienced users.
