Have the Escape Key cancel/escape all Modal Popups

Being able to dismiss/cancel modal popups by pressing the Escape Key is pretty much standard UI behaviour. This used to be the behaviour in remnote for the various Modal interfaces (Search, the Modal from selecting text etc).

At present there is no obvious way to stop searching for a REM etc without resorting to using the mouse which is not ideal in a productivity related app where many users will want to use keyboard shortcuts whenever possible.
