Make Remnote Less Buggy: Syncing issues

I am aware that there was another feature request to make Remnote more performant and less buggy in the past, but I wanted to make a new post. To be perfectly blunt, if Remnote doesn’t take care of the syncing issues, and the fact that the application can be extremely slow, I will feel somewhat conflicted about seriously recommending this application to people. I say this to be blunt because I use this application a lot, and I do currently recommend it to others. I understand that the team is already working on the issue, but it has been an issue for the past 6 months at least with many bug reports, and the issue has not been fixed.

I cannot know how many people are working on other features, versus fixing bugs, but if it is at all possible, I would like the team to shift its resources to focus more on fixing bugs, and reducing the amount of syncing issues and crashes from the application. I shouldn’t have to go to into task manager to manually close the application every time I have a syncing issue, or experience considerable lagging with a premium computer.

To be fair, I am a power user, who uses a lot of the features from the app at the same time (and thus significantly more RAM, from things like the excalidraw plugin and incremental everything), but the app should not be experiencing crashes from using it in the intended way. The problem usually occurs when I lose connection from WIFI, going into airplane mode. This is significant source of distraction when I try to enter a state of focused flow, and the app disrupts that flow.

Again, I love this app, and that is precisely why there is a frustrated tone to this feature request. I have been with Remnote for 3-4 years as a lifelong member, and experience complaints from people that I share the software with that the app is too slow/Buggy, and unfortunately they’re right.

Sorry if this is not as short as it could have been, but I consider it the number one issue holding Remnote back right now. I don’t have all the information, so I could be wrong, but I believe that Remnote is trying to branch out with features way too quickly, and not focusing enough on performance/Less-bugs. I have been guilty of requesting more features myself. At some point I think the community kind of just accepted that the app is kind of slow/buggy. The community has a lot of passion in requesting features, and I love that, but I would like Remnote to exercise caution in introducing too many new features, despite the requests from users like me and others. Otherwise the bugginess will deter new users coming in who don’t have that same level of passion.
