Multiple versions of the same card
-
For math it could be useful to have multiple different versions of the same problem, and present only one of them as a flashcard on a given day. The next time the flashcard comes up it would randomly pick one of the versions to show.
For example, if you want to learn what x² is, you could create multiple flashcards that all ask what a random number squared is. E.g.
What is 2²? » 4
What is 5² » 25What is ½² » ¼
Each time the card comes up the system randomly picks only one of these to show. Assuming you know the concept you will be able to answer all of these different versions of the same card.
This would spice things up and make it a bit more like problem solving, which is very useful in math and physics, while also retaining the spaced repetition effect.
