Not really a feature: packaging for linux

Not really a feature request, but it would be nice have a static link to download a “LTS”-version of the app from (meaning a old stable version).
I am currently maintaining a package for remnote on arch-linux, where I have to generate a download link dynamically according to the package version.

Since this issue (https://feedback.remnote.com/p/distribute-linux-app-as-flatpak) seems to have run stale and a distribution of remnote via flathub seems unlikely in the short future, packages like this are still one of the easiest ways to get a working installation (including desktop-entry, etc.) on linux and it would be a shame if it stopped working because I forgot to update it.

Anyhow, a flatpack would probably be the best solution, so that one can just install Remnote from the “Appstores” that come with Desktopenvironments like KDE and GNOME.

Have a good one!
