PDF Math Annotation

A way to integrate PDF Annotation image recognition with documents.

Idea:
step 1. Highlight a particular area of a pdf with math in it within a pdf using alt+drag instead of ctrl+drag (producing a different color)
step 2. After making all necessary highlights, view the image(s) with the pieces of Katex code attached (interpreted by a Katex OCR)Step 3.
Make any necessary changes to clean up the code where any OCR mistakes were made and press “Accept Katex block” to delete the image, leaving only the code and the reference to the part of the pdf.


For the time being this must be done by either manually inputing the Katex code, or using an outside software to OCR the Katex such as mathpix:
