Simultaneous selection of paragraph or text

Imagine you have the following text:

"José is hungry and went to eat"

And you want to make the characters "JOSE" for José and "EAT" for Comer bold, I can't select both at the same time and change them, I have to change the formatting by selecting and changing them one by one.

I've tried CTRL + SELECT, CRTL + SHIFT + SELECT, but nothing works.

I ask that you implement this, it would save a lot of my time!

I also have a request to add, I put my comments inside my flashcards, but they have an extra indent to indicate that they are not part of the question, however, if I leave a blank line, when I answer the questions, it says undefined, so I put vertical bars to separate my comments " | ", could you remove this from appearing undefined?
