Snipd Integration Plugin for RemNote
Description:
This feature request aims to develop a new integration plugin to import "Snips" from the podcast app Snipd directly into RemNote. Currently, Snipd users can import their snips into other note-taking apps like Notion, Obsidian, and Logseq. Given RemNote's popularity among learners and professionals, it's logical and beneficial to expand the import capabilities to RemNote as well.
In the past, a similar feature existed for the podcast app Airr, but it seems to have fallen into disrepair and might no longer function.
Required Features:
Snip Import: The plugin should allow users to import Snips from Snipd directly into RemNote. Users should be able to choose whether to import a single Snip, multiple Snips, or all Snips from a podcast.
Metadata Inclusion: Along with Snips, related metadata (like the podcast name, episode title, and timestamp) should also be imported and appropriately tagged within RemNote.
Auto-Sync: The plugin should provide an auto-sync feature. If this feature is turned on, new Snips made in Snipd should be automatically imported into RemNote.
Import History: The plugin should maintain an import history, so users can easily track what they have imported into RemNote.
Conflict Resolution: If the same Snip is imported more than once, the plugin should have a mechanism for handling duplicates to avoid cluttering up the user's notes.
