Save the data of local knowledgebases in such a way / folder structure, that it can be easily synced via 3rd party cloud-services or self-hosted cloud servers.

With this, one could have direct influence on where and when my own data are synced, and if I want it encrypted or not. Claiming that “owning my data” is important for the RemNote Community, this should be an essential part of the application imho.

Another plus would be, that u as RemNote Team save cloud storage to provide, which can save money to use for development, as well as giving every user the full rights to own their data and use it the way they want. Please make that a very fundamental point of the application.

In an age where “owning ur data” is not self-evident, I’m sure that going this way confidently and respecting the rights of the customer, will definitely strengthen this great USP of your application even more.
