tag lag & ai tagging/sorting

Hi! I have two requests which are closely related, so I think one post is enough.

1. Tagging is surprisingly laggy despite the list of tags being only a handful items, it really should be instant (compare for example obsidian).

2. When studying for an exam, it is often the case that the rems I create belong to different topics, since the exam might cover different subjects, as is the case with USMLE. This results in a document that has many rems that are unrelated topic wise. Which results in a cluttered and unstructured knowledge base with reduced long term usefulness. Also, AI could merge redundant concepts and keep all the definitions.

I am pretty sure this would benefit almost all users.

One could argue that appropriate sorting should be done immediately when creating rems, however, this is very time intensive, since you’d have to leave the current document and load the appropriate folder or section of the knowledge base which is not instant and is also distracting. Furthermore, even if one takes the time to do this, it might become necessary later to restructure parts of the knowledge base.
