This feature is a simple automatic creation of table instances. It is directly inspired by Notion’s repeating templates feature. I aspire to completely transfer my notion database work over to RemNote, so this feature would be critical for those who automate their works.

This feature request is focused on Automation in tag tables. RemNote Tags have the ability to make templates, and have these templates automatically applied to instances created.

Side Note:

As I was thinking about this, I realized it could probably be done with a plugin, but I think the user-experience and overall usage of the feature is best kept to native experiences only. This as a plugin may become convoluted and messy if managed completely by a plugin. I do not believe this should be a plugin.

Complexity

Notion seems to have back-end tasks that actually create these repeating templates instead of the software “catching up” whenever it is booted by the user. For parity sake, it would be helpful for RemNote to also mimic this behavior and have backend tasks to run this act, and performance may be impacted if the app has to catch up on the missed repeats locally.
