Go to parent post →Tydiying Remnote : Merger manager & Merge rems into aliases
I would like to have a merger manager which allows:
to monitor and manage all homonymic rems in one place and in one go, instead of finding them by chance
-
to have some fuzzy rules about what is considered homonymic:
“text” = “Text” = “text_“ = “_text” = “texts” = …. etc.
with “_” for a space
-
to merge two rems that bear entirely different rems (eg: “Stats” and “statistics”), in a way where I can decide what becomes the alias of what.
If possible, this could be graphical: dragging and dropping
Why do we need this? → We need more processes for tidying our Remnote KB
Presently:
homonymic rem can only be found by pure luck.. and if we either entirely zoom into one of those rems, or if we put our mouse over them..
Merging two rems with different names is annoyingly cumbersome at the moment, and could be only describe as a series of workaroud.
At the end of the day, Remnote should be a KB manager and not just a KB.
