Universal Document Clipper
I would really like a universal document clipper (UDC) that would save my clippings in an inbox e.g. like we have now Links, or Quick Add. With universal document clipper, I mean not only that I can clip from websites, but also when I am in a document on my Mac, e.g. PDF, a word processor, a spreadsheet, etc. Right now as far as I know, there are two apps that do this, One is Mem.AI and the other is Lazy.so (https://lazy.so/). The latter is working on an offline version. Mem.ai is not working on an offline version. Remnote has an offline version which is really great. I use it all the time for my more private work. I like to suggest that this should become a matter of high priority as I see that this is becoming a hot feature. (Rewind is another such app that basically captures everything). Hookmark (https://hookproductivity.com/) can capture links from all sorts of apps and can do deep linking. There is also a manifesto about being able to link stuff: https://linkingmanifesto.org/ I believe Remnote is ideally positioned to take advantage of a universal document clipper rather than only a web clipper. Is this on the roadmap and would you consider it making it a priority? When we study and do research, the UDC would be an enormous help.
